After Australia’s white-ball skipper declared his retirement from One Day Internationals on Saturday, Virat Kohli offered a touching message to Aaron Finch. Moreover, Cricket Australia confirmed that the last ODI in the present match against New Zealand will be Finch’s final 50-over game. He will stay to captain Australia in Twenty20 Internationals. Finch sent an emotional parting statement on Instagram, saying it was an honor to play alongside and with some of the best players in history. He stated that portraying Australia was his childhood goal and thanked the supporters for their remarks.
“It’s been one hell of a ride! To play with and against some of the greatest players of all time has been a privilege. Representing Australia was my dream as a kid and to have the opportunities I have is beyond anything I could’ve hoped for. Thanks so much for all of the kind words, messages, and well wishes!” said Finch taking on his Instagram.

Kohli, who played with Finch at Royal Challengers Bangalore, complimented him and said it was a pleasure to play alongside and against him. Furthermore, Finch was urged by the star hitter to enjoy the next chapter of his life.
