Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh has landed in difficulties in Uttar Pradesh. A complaint is hereby on record against the cast and director Indra Kumar for intentionally hurting religious sensibilities. On September 9, the film’s trailer was released. Lord Chitragupta, assesses everybody’s misdeeds and merits after death. Lord Yama, removes one’s soul after death. These both gods are in modern attire in the Thank God teaser. In Karnataka, the Hindu Janajagruti Samithi has now protested to the film’s trailer.

Thank God is going to release on October 25th.

“Actors are ridiculing Hindu gods in the trailer,  We can never allow ridicule of Hindu deities Chitragupta and Lord Yama in the guise of free expression. “Was the censor board asleep when this trailer came out?” stated Hindu Janajagruti Samithi spokesman Mohan Gowda.  The organization has urged that the film not be certified by the Censor Board. They further stated that the video should be banned by the State and Central Home Ministries. Since it has offended religious sensitivities. They also threatened to demonstrate in the streets. By insulting Hindu religious notions and deities, the film has offended Hindus’ religious sensitivities. Only a few sequences and lines from the film are there in the trailer. “There is no disputing that the whole film has more inappropriate dialogue than the live ones,” Gowda stated.

Thank God is going to release on October 25th.
