Confirming to the reports of Assam State Disaster Management Authorities (ASDMA), the flood has immersed 10,321 hectares of cropland. This has affected 2 lakhs people from about 590 villages.
Heavy rainfall in Assam in the last few days, has left the city in a devastating state. The hustle has ignited over 50 villages in Assam. From animals to infrastructures, the flood has thrown a massive impact on everything. According to the ANI, 11 individuals together with 1 kid from the Cachar District, are missing. Moreover, On Saturday, three people including a woman lost their lives in landslides. It took place in the Haflong of the Dima Hasao district, which is around 250 km away from Guwahati.

However, during this calamitous period, The Indian Air Force left no stone unturned to help out the citizens. They saved 119 passengers through airways and rescued them to Silchar and Badarpur.
