A new train flagged off in Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi boarded the Vande Bharat Express

The train will start running on October 1 and will run every day except Sundays.

 A new and upgraded Vande Bharat Express from Gandhinagar. PM took a train ride from Gandhinagar to Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad during the launch event, which began at 10:30 a.m. He was accompanied by individuals of all walks of life, including railway employees, female entrepreneurs, and young people.
The semi-high-speed train will run between Gandhinagar and Mumbai, the state capitals of Gujarat and Maharashtra, respectively.
The train will start running on October 1 and will run every day except Sundays.

According to officials, the train will leave Mumbai Central at 6.10 a.m. and arrive in Gandhinagar at 12.30 p.m. The return train will leave Gandhinagar Capital at 2.05pm and arrive at Mumbai Central at 8.35pm.
The train has 16 coaches and a seating capacity of 1,128 passengers. It will stop at three stations before arriving at Gandhinagar Capital station: Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad.

According to an official, the newly launched Vande Bharat Express train will provide passengers with an aircraft-like travelling experience as well as advanced state-of-the-art safety features such as Kavach technology – an indigenously developed Train Collision Avoidance System.
All classes of the train have reclining seats, with Executive Coaches also having 180-degree rotating seats.

According to news agency ANI, Divyang-friendly washrooms and seat handles with seat numbers in Braille letters have also been provided.
Other advanced safety features include outside platform cameras and rearview cameras.
The enhanced regenerative braking system saves approximately 30% of the energy used by the train.
In the event of an emergency, the loco pilot and train guard can easily communicate with each other and with passengers.
Other features include on-demand content via wifi, a three-hour battery backup, and GPS systems to make travel safer and more comfortable.
This is the country’s third Vande Bharat train. With the other two running between New Delhi and Varanasi and New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
